Is the use of the definite article justified before names of angles, lines, line segments, sides of a shape, etc.?

Such as the cases here,

Draw the line AB such that it intersects the line BC.
Or Find the measure of the angle ABC.
Or The side AB of the rectangle is 3 cm.

Is the use of ‘the’ justified here or we shouldn’t be using it?
