Is it okay to use two double quotation marks when more than one people speaking the same words at the same time?

I have been writing novel and stumbled on this problem.
It just a simple question so here it goes:
Would you do this:
""Sir, yes sir!"" said the two guards.
or
"Sir, yes sir!" said the two guards in unison.
