Is "images of somebody" the same as "somebody's images"?

English Language & Usage Asked on December 22, 2020

I was surfing the Internet the other day when I came across this line:

The more I thought about it, the more her images came to my mind.

In that sentence, is "her images" the same as "images of her", or is it just stating pure possession?

Moreover, may I ask whether the "the more" in the second part of the sentence is suitable or not.
