How can you read (orally) a quotation that has some parts omitted with ellipsis points?
For example, consider the following sentences:
The original sentence:
"To read a quotation with omission — that is, a quotation with one or more ellipses that indicates an omission — can be very confusing."
The quoted version:
"To read a quotation with omission … can be very confusing" (stackexchange.com).
How can I read the quoted version above, in a presentation? Should I just skip the ellipsis?
