English Language & Usage Asked on December 24, 2020
When saying, in a technical documentation,
XYZ license with a free of charge distribution only clause
should we use hyphens like this:
XYZ license with a free-of-charge-distribution-only clause
to emphasize the 5 words before "clause" is an ajdective ?
What’s the general rule in this case?
