How should the word "tomorrow" be expressed?

English Language & Usage Asked by Incognito on April 23, 2021

Which phrase would be more grammatically correct: "Tomorrow is Monday." or "Tomorrow will be Monday."
Keep in mind that this phrase is being used in a casual conversation, as one between friends. The phrase is also being used in response to someone asking what day tomorrow would be.

One Answer

If the friend is asking

What day would tomorrow be?

you can answer

Tomorrow would be Monday.

You can also use that response if he says

What day is tomorrow?

or you can say

Tomorrow's Monday.

or

Dude, do you still have a hangover from last night's party?
