He wrote [a/the] book "Life and Death"

English Language & Usage Asked by ddffbb on February 18, 2021

In the following sentence:

He wrote a book titled "Life and Death".

Can I omit "titled" to reduce the phrase to a book "Life and Death"?

I’m accustomed to the book "Life and Death", but when the is replaced by a, it sounds a little bit awkward to me.

Is it possible?
