Does that sentence sound natural ==> "I'm glad you specialized me with your inquiry."?

English Language & Usage Asked by Mohamad Waly on June 15, 2021

If someone contacted me to ask about something and I want to express my gratitude to them for choosing me in particular to ask,

can I say ===> "I’m glad you specialized me with your inquiry?"

One Answer

That's not natural. Something better would be "Thank you for choosing me specifically for this inquiry." or, "I'm glad you chose me specifically for this inquiry."
