English Language & Usage Asked by user3019105 on September 18, 2020
Should I put a comma between the two adjectives wasted
and countless
in the following sentence?
There are wasted, countless opportunities out there.
Or should the sentence be:
There are wasted countless opportunities out there.
? Are these two adjectives coordinate or cumulative?
I guess they are coordinate because their order can be changed or we can use an and
conjunction and the sentence would still sound quite right:
There are countless, wasted opportunities out there.
Or:
There are countless and wasted opportunities out there.
