English Language & Usage Asked by seereu on February 20, 2021
I’m trying to see what part of speech "as long as" is in two different structures.
EXAMPLES:
1, As long as old people are happy, they should work for a
s long as they want.
"As long as" here is a conjunction…is that correct?
2, Old people should work for as long as they want.
Question: what part of speech is "as long as" in this sentence (when it follows "for")?
