Antonym of "most recent" in a list of events when determining next in line

English Language & Usage Asked by st3inn on January 19, 2021

Having a list of people that rotate hosting an event with some exceptions to the rotations, I am looking for the phrase of saying that the next host should be person A because the longest time has passed since person A hosted the event out of all the hosts.

The issue is that the last event A hosted is A’s most recent event, so it is the "least recent most recent event".

What would be a succinct way of referring to this ordering/sorting method?
