Usage of Doc2Vec as feature extractor for text classification of websites with political articles

I have gathered political articles from polish websites for my engineering thesis. The main goal is to try to predict the website that input text belongs to. So for this few websites I want to create one doc2vec model, train it, and then use vector representation of these documents (one doc2vec for content, one doc2vec for headers) to serve as an input for some Deep Neural Network. Does it make sense to use the doc2vec as a feature extractor in this case?
