Regressive CNN visualization

I am interested in creating heat maps for my CNN which regresses images to a real value. However, most of the methods I have seen (eg, grad-CAM) were developed for classification.

• Is there a way to adapt these methods for a regressive, not classifier CNN?
• If not, what other methods are there? I have so far used occlusion sensitivity and measured the deviation.
