Ram required to train YOLO v4

What is the GPU ram required to train YOLO v4? More generally what is the ram requirements to work with the more interesting architectures and bigger datasets?

I see Nvidia has released the RTX 3090 with 24GB ram but the RTX 3080-3070 still maintain 10GB and 8GB and I wonder if that is sufficient for academic and hobby workloads or if a 3090 will be required.
