Learning conditional statements from natural language

Natural language text in emails might have conditional statements in them. Are there any technical papers and methods that explore converting unstructured text (eg. emails) into structured conditional statements?

For example:

Natural Language –
".. Hey, come home tonight if you are free. Otherwise, can we meet tomorrow?"

Output –

<Conditional_IF> You are free </Conditional_IF>
      Come home tonight
<Conditional_ELSE>
      Can we meet tommorow?
