Interactive Filter based on logic to catrgorically color in lines on a bokeh graph?

I’m looking to make some bokeh line charts for a personal finance analysis, where the lines show the growth of money over time, with each line representing different combinations of life choices. I want to make an interactive filter where a person looking at the graph can select buttons that will show the split between different scenarios, and will highlight the lines in different colors to differentiate those scenarios (i.e check number of kids, lines are highlighted different colors which correspond to number of kids the person had in that scenario). How can this be done using Bokeh?
