how to vertical integration along specific levels

I know it will sound silly but I have got a small question to ask. I want to do vertical integration for atmospheric data. Suppose say, my data contains dimensions as (time, level, long, lat). Now the level is from 1000hpa to 5hpa, and I want to integrate it from 800hpa to 550 hPa. So can anyone help me by saying how to do this, like whether is there any function in python of doing such integration?
