Cross Validated Asked by Msilvy on July 31, 2020
I am trying to compare two datasets representing the same output. The dataset is categorical.
For example, my first data output is (1)100-200 (2)200-300 (3) 200-300 (4) 300-400 etc.
Second data output is (1)200-300 (2)200-300 (3) 300-400 (4) 300-400 etc.
The number 1,2,3,4 represents their spatial location.
Can I use the Grey relational coefficient to measure the correlation/distance between these two datasets? I am particularly interested in grey relational theory as they can handle small sample size. Most example of this theory is based on multicriteria decision making.
