Redirect after password reset

Can not seem to set a redirect path after a password reset, using Craft 3.5.1 – I have done this many times on other sites, but all of them are on earlier versions of Craft.

I have a frontend form for password reset, and the link in a reset password email gets you there. However, once the password is reset it redirects to the home page.

This is what I have in my config/general file:

'setPasswordSuccessPath' => 'login',

After troubleshooting for a while I tried copying the password reset link in the backend, used it to go the reset page and then setting a password. That worked – after setting the password I was redirected to my setPasswordSuccessPath ! But it never works when an automated email is sent after creating a new user.

Am I missing something?
