When I run pip install bpy
I get this error:

I am using Ubuntu by the way!
You are missing the future-fstrings package. I'm not sure why it doesn't install automatically but a simple pip install future-fstrings
should solve this.

It seems as if you are not required to install bpy
, because it is already part of Blender.
