Ask Ubuntu Asked by Jason Thomas on October 28, 2020

sorry if this has been asked before i couldnt find anything about it without dual boot.i succesfully installed linux on a fresh new hdd. i didnt write down my pass like a dum dum. i deleted the whole drives partitions to start again. now i cant boot from the same flash drive i used before and it says error no such partition. is there a certain way i need to partition it? ive tried several different partitions and both ntfs and fat32. can someone tell me how fix this? i just wanna use ubuntu. no dual boot. and i dont wanna keep plugging and unplugging my new hdd. doesnt feel good to keep moving it.

thanks you so much. im new to this so if you need more info let me know what exactly you need to know please.
