Ask Ubuntu Asked by Paul Wessex on January 24, 2021
Apologies if this doesn’t make much sense. Ask questions and I’ll clarify as best I can. Appreciate and thanks for any help!
History: upgraded hardware on my desktop. Had issues with windows so had to reinstall. After reinstalling windows 10 the GRUB loader for dual booting was gone.
I’ve tried liveboot on ubuntu and I can see what I’m pretty sure are the partitions had had set up but I can’t/don’t know how to get it set up so that I can reassociate them (pretty sure prior boot was in a legacy mode rather than uefi so that might be stuffing things) and reinstall the GRUB and get access to Ubuntu again.
I’ve attached a bootinfo script. Any other required info? https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/hV5rNqG9Q3
