Fingerprint Support for Acer Swift 1

I recently bought the Acer Swift 1 SF114-32 and realized, that setting up the fingerprint scanner is not that easy. I’ve tried it with fprintd, which says "no devices available".
Is there a way to configure the scanner on Kubuntu 20.04?
