Ask Ubuntu Asked on January 26, 2021
I´ve been trying to dual boot windows and ubuntu. So, i format windows to have a fresh install and then install ubuntu.
When i try to resize the windows partition, gparted finds bad clusters. It sugests running chkdsk /r /f on windows but i´ve already done that twice and the second time windows failed to diagnose the HDD after running chkdsk. After that, more clusters appeared.
My C: drive has a $SysReset folder so i think my fresh installation had errors.
Should i format windows again so the errors go away? Or is there any other solution?
I would truly appreciate some help.
