Lately I’ve seen more talk about the dangers of crypto mining malware, especially a new one called Lemon_Duck. I would like to protect my systems from these intrusions, but cannot find any application that protects me from them/it. Why don’t any current Linux malware detectors (like Clamav, LDM, etc) include these in their algorithms? Is it just a matter of them not making it a priority… as I haven’t found one Linux system app that will easily protect me. (I realize there are complex network apps that can be used, but I’m not a tech or IT guy.)
