“This iPhone was not able to download 8 full-resolution photos and videos.” when trying to disable iCloud on my phone

I ran out of iCloud storage a very long time ago but just kinda forgot about it since I’ve been using Google Photos. The problem is that for some reason the ‘optimise iPhone storage’ option was checked and it’s removed some of my photos.

There’s one photo which definitely got corrupted somehow that I managed to recover from iCloud web, but I have no idea how to find the other 7 photos.

I’ve tried selecting them one hundred at time and going ‘share’ then ‘email’ which downloads them onto my device – this way I’ve gone from 350+ to 8 but I cannot find these last ones. The thought of losing 7 random photos of my son is pretty awful :/

How can I recover them please? Or at least see which ones the 7 are which haven’t downloaded yet? Thanks.
