xbox one on xbox 360 emulator retrieving backup save files

last night I was playing borderlands 2 and got hit by a train and my game crashed. i loaded the game back up and my save file was gone. if I go into the storage settings on the 360 I can see the backup file, but I can only delete it. I have tried doing al kinds of resets but that only permanently deleted one of my accounts. is there a way for me to get this backup file into the game?
