Why can't I display chunk borders in Minecraft?

For some reason, pressing f3 + G doesn't work. Nor does fn + f3 + G. I also can't seem to show hitboxes either (f3 + H)  or for showing the help thing (f3 + q). I was able to do this in other computers, but this one doesn't seem to work for some reason. Does anyone know why?

Hitboxes are shown using the F3 + B shortcut, F3 + H brings up the durability of an item in inventory.

If F3 + H does not bring up the durability, try pressing the keys outside of the inventory.
