What happens if you don't terminate the connection to the dreamers in Ward 16?

So I terminated the dreamer connected to the third world, and the result seemed like the boss fight started at half health. I didn't do that for the other dreamers and those fights were full health bosses. So far that's the only thing that's happened and I would bet it's the only thing that will happen. So if you are struggling with a fight, terminate the dreamer to make it easier on yourself.
