I recently got Post Scriptum, and wanted to install a dedicated server of my own on my computer so that I can practice and explore the game freely.
I downloaded the server files from the Post Scriptum Server guide here, and followed the guide to the tee. When I edited the update.bat file to include my account details as well as the directory for where the server is to be installed, I ran the file to install the server. After a little bit, the bat returned the following error :
Failed to install app (746200) - No Subscription!
Now the account details that I provided in the bat file, does indeed have Post Scriptum tied to the account. I am unsure as to why the bat file is complaining that the account does not have a subscription for Post Scriptum, as I play the game regularly.
I opened up SteamCMD manually, and logged in using my account details, and then proceeded to run the commands for the install of the server. The commands came from inside the update.bat file. I followed this link.
I then changed the account login credentials to the anonymous type, and that seemed to install the server, however the server does not show in the Server Explorer in-game. I think this might be tied to how the server was installed and the credentials provided prior to install.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
