Ping Spiking in minecraft

So im getting occasional ping spikes in minecraft when im playing on a server/multiplayer, this only happens on multiplayer nothing else, my connection is completely fine and im able to run other games fine without it ping spiking. does anyone have any solutions/fixes i have tried everything and i am having no luck.
