Is this villager mood normal?

My villager has mood 4%!

• I have my first villager in the simplest possible house.
• Wood and
  cooked meat and savoury soups are stocked for days in advance
• she is employed in her second best skill

I know that children, better houses and daub can help, but the latter two are far away. Is there anything I can do? Is this normal? Everyone else seems to get mood 50 by default!
