Is it possible to move both forward/backward AND left/right at the same time?

I am using MCBE on PS4. This means I use a joystick on my controller to move left, right, forward, or backward.

On computers, you can hold, W and A, for example, to move in a 45 degree angle, that is, moving forward and left at the same time.

Will holding my PS4 joystick in a 45-degree angle recreate this experience?
