How do I play the "Earth (classic/small)" scenario but with an isometric map?

In Freeciv 2.6.2, the "Earth (classic/small)" scenario (earth-80×50-v3.sav.gz) shows a top-down 2D map like this:
Is there a way to change the map to an isometric map instead? I would like a map that looks like this:
