How do I collect the shadow insects that I can't see?

I am playing Twilight Princess (the Wii version). I am collecting Tears of Light in the Lanayru Provence and I have three more to find. I know that the last one doesn’t appear until you have them all, so that makes sense. I think I know where the other two are. One is in Zora’s domain (the one on the bank of the lake by the block of ice that’s blocking a cave) and keeps moving around, while the other is in Lake Hylia. I go to their locations on the map and use my wolf senses, but I can’t see either of them, even when the map shows that I’m so close that the arrow is touching the dot. I tried z-targeting to see if they were underground, but that didn’t work either.
