How can I make the position of one armor_stand dependent on the vertical rotation of a second armor_stands head rotation in minecraft 1.17

Arqade Asked on August 11, 2021

I have a ferris wheel and let the head of an armor_stand rotate vertically on the central axis. Since it is a vertical rotation, I cannot link the gondolas to the rotation of the entire armor_stand like with a carousel with ^ ^ ^ but have to make the alignment dependent on the rotation of the head joint. Unfortunately, I don’t succeed.

My Code for the middle axis Armor_stand:

summon armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {CustomNameVisible:0b,NoGravity:1b,NoBasePlate:1b,ArmorItems:[{},{},{},{id:"minecraft:stone_button",Count:1b,tag:{display:{Name:'{"text":"middle2"}'}}}],CustomName:'{"text":"middle1"}'}

My Code for the gondolas movement:

execute as @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,name=gondel1] at @e[name=middle2] run teleport @s ^20 ^ ^ facing entity @s

The idea was to give the button on the head of the armor_stand its own name to tie the gondola to its rotation and not to the body of the armor_stand below…

Can anyone help me?
