Bejeweled 3 saving, but not loading data

I bought a copy of Bejeweled 3 on Steam, and when I ran it for the first time, played a little, quit, and relaunched the game, I noticed that it prompted me to create a new user. I played a little, then quit. When I launched the game again, it prompted me to create a new user again. I checked to make sure the game was actually saving properly, which I found the save at %localappdata%PopCap GamesBejeweled3. I tried running the game in compatibility mode, admin, etc. and it still didn’t fix anything. I already contacted EA, in which they are no help. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it?
