I dont know where to find help anymore. Ive been ask the technician at my place on how to fix but it seems she got no idea about it. My phone keep restart by its own & giving me this message ”oops Kernel panic!!. Please connect the phone to PC enable capture and press the volume down key to get the kernel log. Repeat if required. Press volume up to enter upload mode.” I already update my firmware but it’s still won’t fix anything. Really need help here. My phone is Samsung S Advance. What should I do?
There are two possibilities: Investigate the problem further or directly perform a factory reset and additionally flash a full stock ROM from the manufacturer if it is available.
If you want to investigate the problem in detail you can collect the details error reports. For doing so connect your Smartphone to a PC with installed ADB and enable the development mode and ADB on the device. Then execute the following command on your PC:
adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg > kmsg-2018-05-13_14-05.txt
After each reboot do the same (with an update date/time in the command).
After some reboots you can compare the files next to the Kernel panic
entry. It they look similar it might be a software problem. If they look completely different regarding the involved modules and the error message the chance is high that it is a hardware problem.
