How do I check the DNS settings for my mobile data connection?

Let me be specific on this: I am not asking how to change my DNS settings or how to set up alternative DNS servers. Google has provided quite a few links with suggestions how.

For some reason I’m trying to troubleshoot, my mobile connection’s DNS settings don’t seem to be working anymore — I can connect,and I can ping IP addresses, but DNS lookups don’t seem to be coming through and I’m trying to find out why.

Normally, the first step is to see what settings I’m receiving via PPP, but my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 does not appear to have an obvious "list received PPP settings from APN"

Every attempt at searching the app store for an app that I hoped would let me review my DNS settings instead only offered me ways to change them, which is useless to me at this point.
