I am trying to write a bilingual text in Texmaker. For this I would like the spell check to recognise both languages, yet in the Texmaker preferences (Options → Configure Texmaker → Editor → Spelling Dictionary) I can only choose one .dic file.
Is it possible to choose multiple files here or will I have to join the two into one file. If so what would be the fastest way to achieve that?
It's as easy as writing all the paths of the dictionaries you want to use separated by a semicolon.
First of all access to the spelling dictionary option:
Options → Configure Texmaker → Editor → Spelling Dictionary
And then, for example, if I want to use the Spanish, English, and German dictionaries I should write something like this:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Texmaker/es_ES.dic;C:/Program Files (x86)/Texmaker/en_US.dic;C:/Program Files (x86)/Texmaker/de_DE.dic
