I paste text into Word 2013 from another application. I have the "Keep Formatting" option set so I get the source formatting (including the background color). I’d like to extend the background color of the pasted text so the text is not right up against the edges of the background, as shown in the image.
Notice the grey background. I would like to somehow extend that grey background so the text has some breathing room. This is basically the idea of padding if you are familiar with CSS.
There’s a similar question on SU except that I really don’t want a use a TextBox. I want to be able to record a simple macro that I can run after I paste the text.
