A moving charge produces a magnetic field, while its magnetic moment is given by
$$mu = -gfrac{q}{2m}textbf{L}$$
where, $g$ = gyromagnetic ratio, $q$ = charge, $m$ = mass, L = orbital angular momentum (an analogous expression is also given for spin angular momentum). Question – What is the magnetic moment produced by a charge in translatory motion (with an intrinsic integer/half-integer spin) but no orbital motion?
