Here are 2 pictures of separate light switches in my house
I want to get smart switches. What type of wiring do I have. Ie what type of switch do I needenter image description here
One switch appears to be a 3 way sw. with 3 wires, meaning controlled from two locations. The other has only 2 wires and is a single pole single throw (spst) and only controls from one location. Smart sw's must have signal receivers in them to control by application software.
EASY TO INSTALL: Step-by-step instructions will guide you through the wiring process. Neutral Wire is required; standard size; screwless snap-on wall plate; no hub required. For 2.4G Wi-Fi only (NOT 5G). Max Power: 1250W. Output Current: 10A. For non-dimmable bulbs.SINGLE-POLE AND 3-WAY APPLICATION: Using it as 3-way or single pole switch to control the light from 1 or 2 locations. Replace one of your traditional 3-way switch with our Treatlife 3-way smart switch or use 2 Treatlife 3-way switches to control the light from 2 locations, such as at the top and bottom of a staircase, at the ends of a long hallway, for large rooms with multiple entrances, from house to garage, etcSMART LIGHTING:Hands-free voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant, your family can enjoy superior lighting automation.Personalize custom lighting scenes to make your home more smarter and easily.REMOTE CONTROL: Control the light from anywhere with your smartphone using the Smart Life App. Automate home lighting with schedules or countdown based on everyday routines or to simulate occupancy while you are on vacation. You can also monitor real-time light status, share devices, and group many Treatlife switches to control all the lights in your home.
