I have a raster layer (3 cm x 3 cm) and a vector layer with polygons and when I try to clip the raster by the polygon layer to have just the bare earth/ground regions left over, so I can interpolate them afterwards, I always get the error below:
Warning 1: Ring Self-intersection at or near point 571.37754947319627 322.188317745924
ERROR 1: Cutline is not valid after transformation
The polygon layer was derived from the raster layer.
I am working with QGIS.
I had the same problem.
I had download some rather standard data. A vectorset and a rasterset named "Danmark_2015_Regn_Sønder_Dråby".
It kept throwing a Warning 1: Ring Self-intersection at or near point 571.37754947319627 322.188317745924 ERROR 1: Cutline is not valid after transformation
I tried zero-dist buffer, Vclean and so on.
Then I copied the files and renamed to "Raster" and "Vector".
Magic happend. It then completed in first go.
