How to view the contents of another persons enderchest?

I am using 1.12. /data get entity @p EnderItems doesn't work as it isn't seen as a command.

In my personal opinion (not tested so don't accept if wrong), the problem was that you are playing in 1.12, so try using a newer version and run the command. I was wondering why are you useing 1.12 in the first place because the 1.16 update is really cool :)
